Slow Marketing for Art Therapy: Ditching the Algorithm for Real Connection
A Serendipitous Connection Across Continents
The most meaningful collaborations rarely begin with a cold email or a rigid marketing funnel. They usually arrive quietly, born out of serendipity.
While traveling, my best friend crossed paths with Haddia Zergani - founder and heart behind Presentsein. In those spontaneous, unhurried conversations that travel invites, they connected deeply. When Haddia shared her desire to give her practice a clearer, more intentional presence in the world, my best friend immediately thought of me and connected us. Sometimes, when timing, intuition, and shared values align effortlessly, you just know that two creative worlds are meant to collaborate.
Haddia is a certified art therapist with a profound gift for holding space. Whether facilitating intimate offline workshops, collaborating with community initiatives, or being invited by German health insurance providers to present preventative creative health, her work carries immense depth. She guides people - from overwhelmed parents navigating daily exhaustion to self-employed individuals on the brink of burnout - into reconnecting with their body’s subtle cues, learning that true healing begins when we grant our nervous systems the permission to pause.
Yet, when we first sat down together, Haddia felt caught in an all-too-common creative paradox: an abundance of wisdom and ideas, but no chronological structure to translate that tactile, healing offline energy into a digital space that truly felt like home.
From Rigid Patterns to Living Color
When we looked at the starting point of her digital presence, Haddia had been navigating Instagram through a rigid checkerboard pattern. Static quote cards on plain white backgrounds mechanically alternated with video thumbnails. While orderly on surface level, it created an emotional disconnect. Art therapy is sensory, intuitive, and deeply personal. It cannot breathe inside a sterile corporate template.

Through unhurried, strategic conversations, we dismantled the rules she felt pressured to follow:
Embracing Color
Haddia’s everyday reality is rich with textured oil pastels, vibrant acrylic strokes, and grounding colors. We transitioned her visual identity into a living, tactile canvas that mirrors the transformative atmosphere of her studio.
Stepping in Front of the Camera with Courage
Cultivating self-trust requires vulnerability. We worked closely on helping Haddia step into the spotlight as the trusted guide behind Presentsein. She began recording regular, candid face-to-camera reflections, speaking gently on emotional resistance, self-worth, and what it truly means to hold oneself at the end of the day.
A Grounded Editorial Rhythm
We transformed chaotic posting into a structured editorial calendar. Her feed began flowing naturally across distinct formats: deep-dive image analyses, guided breathwork and art prompts, interactive community polls, and heartfelt personal stories.

A Strengths-Based Approach to Content & Healing
In art therapy, Haddia works from a strictly strengths-based and goal-oriented framework. Rather than endlessly digging through past trauma, her methodology focuses on current reality: uncovering inner resilience, breaking through paralyzing self-doubt, and establishing tangible action steps in the present moment.
We mirrored this empowering philosophy across all collaborative Reels and carousels:
Burnout Prevention & Nervous System Regulation
Unpacking why "powering through" is rarely the answer. Content such as „Blaubeeren & Burnout“ and somatic grounding practices reminded high-achievers and entrepreneurs to listen to their body's whisper before it has to scream.
Symbolic Visual Analyses
Bringing therapy exercises into accessible content pieces—such as exploring resilience through the Tree on the Cliff, unpacking self-compassion via the Flower of Self-Confidence, or exploring perspective shifts through lemon symbolism.
Reframing Self-Doubt & Fear
Offering direct, honest perspective shifts. As Haddia often reminds her community:
"We rarely regret the things we tried - even when projects don't succeed, the learning is priceless. What we regret are the choices we never dared to make.“
Bringing Offerings to Life Across Languages
To bridge the gap between inspiring content and real participation, we built clear, inviting pathways for her offerings:
Sonntagsmaler*innen (Sunday Painters)
A gentle, recurring virtual space held on Sunday mornings. Participants gather to release emotional heaviness onto paper through guided creative tasks. We created promotional materials, cohesive visual posters, and celebratory recap carousels that highlighted the shared vulnerability of the group.
Trust Thyself Mentorship
A focused, multi-week intensive with limited intimate spots for individuals and entrepreneurs seeking deep inner stability, boundaries, and confidence.
Bilingual Inclusivity
Recognizing that her community spans both German-speaking locals and international seekers, we paired organic German audio delivery with mindful English subtitles and dual-language captions, ensuring her message resonates without borders.

A Digital Sanctuary Rooted in Slow Marketing
Slow marketing is about building a sustainable digital sanctuary that honors the creator's true capacity.
Haddia found the confidence to share her authentic voice, celebrate her multi-faceted work, and now attract clients who deeply resonate with her gentle, powerful message.
